How to Choose a WordPress Membership Plugin?

We used a WordPress membership plugin to show you how to create a membership site. But that’s not the only plugin available. There are even many free WordPress membership plugins

However, the plugin you use must have some crucial features. Here, we’re looking at those factors when choosing a WordPress membership plugin.

So, let’s go!

  • Drip Content: The plugin should have the drip content function. This lets you gradually release your content on your site, making users curious about your content every time.
  • Membership Levels: Check if you can add as many membership levels as you want. Adding them lets you charge your members differently and access different content.
  • Subscriptions: Make sure the plugin you select has various subscription types. Now, you can offer memberships with one-time or recurring (weekly, monthly, yearly) payments.
  • Payment Gateways: Look for a plugin that integrates with various payment gateways, like PayPal and Stripe. Also, make sure it supports different currencies for users from abroad.
  • Coupons and Discounts: Offers like discounts and coupons attract users to purchase a membership from your site. So, check if your plugin lets you add them when you want.
  • Email Marketing: Your plugin should be compatible with email marketing services and tools to grow your mailing list. So, check whether it supports your preferred marketing tool.
