In this guide, we’ll show you how it’s done.
To get started, you need to download the theme first.
If you’re new, check our guide on installing a WordPress theme. It’s easier than you think.
Once you’ve installed and activated the theme, you’ll again see a message about installing and activating it. Click on it to install the free templates for your sites.
You’ll be immediately directed to the Responsive Theme Template page.
Let’s choose a template that’s free to use! Once you choose, you’ll get an option to either Import the Site or Import Template. Let’s go with the “Import Template” option in the bottom right corner.
Don’t get alarmed if you see a message saying, “Connect Your Website to Cyberchimps Responsive.” If you have got an account, then simply connect or choose to create one if you don’t.
We already have an account, so we’ll use the “Connect Your Existing Account” option.
Now click the “Connect Your Site to Cyberchimps Responsive Account” button.
Once connected, you’ll be directed to the same starter templates page. You will see a Page Builder selector in the library in the upper right corner.
You can select either All, Elementor, or Gutenberg. By selecting your preferred Page Builder, the templates library will adjust accordingly.
There, click the template you like again.
Once imported, you can choose any page you’d like to customize. Here, we’ll go with the Home page, then hit the “Import Home Page” option in the bottom right corner.
You’ll then be given a choice to either Subscribe and Start Importing or simply Skip and Start Importing. For now, we’ll choose the “Skip, Start Importing” option.
After some time, you’ll get a congratulatory message about completing the importing template.
Note: If you import only an individual page (template), the import process will only install a Page Builder depending on your selection, add the single page template as a draft, and Import dummy content only for the single page template.
So let’s go to Pages from the dashboard and edit our new Home page. Here, we’ll make a few adjustments.
Start with the background image. Click on the Style option, choose Background, hit the Change Image option, and upload the one you like. Moving on, let’s discuss the Button style. Click on the button block; now, you can Inherit the style from your theme.
From the Style tab, you can change the button’s spacing. In the Advanced tab, you can add custom CSS if you like. Also, you can choose the Hover Effects for your button block. As you can see in the video below.
For the Heading block, there are a few things you can do! To make changes, select the Heading block and go to the Style tab.
Let’s start with Typography. Here, you can choose the font family and adjust the font size & weight, line height, and letter spacing. Similarly, you can make the same changes for your subheading as well.
Likewise, you can make other changes to this page as you like. Once done, click “Save Draft/Publish” to make the changes. And your homepage is ready to go live.

2. Responsive Blocks

Let’s take a look at some of the blocks:
I. Feature Grid Block
To add this block, start by opening a page or a post and clicking the + icon. Now look for the Feature Grid block, or you can search for it. With this block, you’ll get 3 columns with image, title, description, and button field by default.
You can configure the block from the right side menu.
- Layout: Select the layout for the feature grid block from two different options (basic and plain).
- Columns: You can decide the number of columns to display.
- Alignment: Adjust the alignment of the text to the left, right, or center.
Let’s add some content and see how it looks.
So click on the image icon and choose the image from the library or upload as you like. Also, add a description of the image, and finally, add button text.
Once done, save the change. And this is what your Feature Grid block looks like.
II. Social Share Block
Social Share block allows you to add social media icons for all popular networks and link them to the brand or personal accounts.
After adding the Social Share block, you’ll automatically receive icons for social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
You can easily configure the button from the left-hand side menus.
- Skin: You can select the look of social share buttons as Default, Flat, Framed, minimal, or Boxed Icon.
- Shape: Select the button’s shape as Square, Rounded, or Circle when the “Skin” type is selected as a Flat, Framed, or Boxed Icon.
- Columns: Select the number of columns for social share buttons to be divided into.
- View: Select the view of the social share buttons as Icon & Text, Icon, or Text.
- Alignment: Select the alignment of the social share buttons as Left, Center, or Right aligned.

III. Accordion Block
With an accordion block, you can answer the user’s common queries quickly and attractively. You can add the block like you did for other blocks. After adding the Accordion Block, you’ll get two headers.
To configure this block, click the dropdown icon to configure parent block settings.
- Layout: Select Layout as Accordion or Grid.
- Collapse Other Items: You can enable the setting of accordion items to be closed by default.
- Expand First Item: You can enable the first accordion item to be opened by default.
- Icon: Select ‘expand icon’ and ‘collapse icon’ from here.
It also allows you to add extra accordion items. To do that, click on the + icon. Moreover, if you want to change the order of these blocks, then drag them up and down where you want.

- A sticky header helps keep your header on top of the page even when you scroll to the bottom.
- It makes navigation easier and enhances user experience.
Let’s see how it’s done!
First, go to the Appearance > Customize menu from your dashboard.
On the editor page, select the Header menu.
Following that, go to the Sticky Header option.
Depending on your preferences, you can tick or untick the checkboxes for options like:
- Enable Sticky Header
- Shrink Logo On Scroll
- Disable the Mobile Menu
- Different Logo For Sticky Header.
Next, let’s add some color to our sticky header from the color palette. Once you’re done customizing, hit the “Publish” button, and you’re ready!
Primary Header
In addition, there are lots of things you can do with your primary header. Let’s have a look!
You can turn on/off the Full Width Header option, show/hide site branding and main navigation, and change the header layout.
More options include adjusting the header height and choosing the mobile header layout options. In addition to these, you can choose the logo padding size, border size, header colors, background color, and border color.
Another thing you can tweak is the Logo in the header. You can also enable a retina logo and change the site title and tagline.

II. Footer
The footer builder allows you to build a beautiful website footer using drag and drag elements easily. Here’s what you get in the footer builder offered by Cyberchimps Responsive theme:
Navigate to Appearance > Customize option.

There, you’ll have 3 customization options:
- Layout
- Typography
- Scroll to Top
Let’s start with the Layout option. There are two tabs: General and Design.
Under the General tab, you can choose whether to keep the footer full width or not. You can also rearrange the Footer Elements by simply dragging them, and you can choose to show or hide these elements.
Moving down, you’ll see the Footer Widget. Here, you can choose the number of columns for the footer, and the padding and toggle the enable button to hide the footer on various devices.
Below that is the Footer Bar. This lets you change the Copyright Text for your Footer. You can make the changes simply by typing in the text box on the left-hand side.
You can also choose whether to show or hide the copyright text on desktop, tablet, and mobile. Further down, you can choose your copyright text’s layout, padding, and border size.
Next, let’s switch to the Design tab! Here, you can choose the Background Color for your Footer. You can add the color code or create a new one by simply choosing the color shade. Plus, you can add a background image if you’d like.
Next, let’s change the text color. Simply click on the color option and then add the color code or just drag to choose a shade.
Once done, hit the Publish button at the top, and you’re good to go!
4. Responsive Addons for Elementor
If you’re a fan of Elementor, then this theme has got you a plethora of add-ons for Elementor. Basically, it’s an Elementor Addon plugin that comes with 50+ powerful widgets.
You can add the free version of this plugin directly from your WordPress dashboard. But if you look forward to more of the add-ons, then you’ll need to get the premium version.

To install, go to Plugins > Add New Plugins. Then, search for the “Responsive Addons for Elementor” and install and activate the plugin.
Once you’ve activated this plugin, you’ll get a message asking you to install the Elementor plugin if you don’t have it. Because you’ll need the Elementor plugin to use these add-ons.
Let’s take a look at some of the add-ons!
I. Testimonial
This is a slider for Elementor with unlimited customization options that suit any website. You can showcase reviews about your business.
Now, let’s add the testimonial addon to this site.
Go to Post > Add New Post.
Before adding the addon, ensure you’re using the Elementor editor. If not, then you can change it from the editor. Simply hit Edit with Elementor at the top of your page/post editor.
Now, on the editor page, search for and select the Testimonial add-on to add to your page.
Click on the edit icon in the testimonial add-on. Now, you can add testimonials for your site.
Moreover, you can style your testimonial add-on from the Style icon from the left menu bar. You can choose the color options for your text, change fonts, etc.
Explore and change the appearance of testimonials to match your website brand. Once you’re done, don’t forget to hit Publish from the top right corner and make it live.
II. Business Hour
Similarly, let’s look at the Business Hour add-on. You can simply use the edit icon to change your business’s days and hours.
For the styling, select the Style option from the left menu bar. Then, under the Title section, change the title text’s color, border, typography, etc. Next, the Hour List option let’s you change the color, border, typography, and more.
Further, on the Advanced tab, you’ll see other options for designing like layout, motion effect, background, etc.

5. Mega Menu
If you want to create a mega menu for your website, then Responsive Plus provides plenty of options to customize your website header layouts. You can create expandable mega menus that are responsive and support full-width dropdowns.
As you know, the free version of Responsive Plus has already been installed, and it lets you create a mega menu. All you need to do is enable the Mega Menu feature.
Go to Appearance > Responsive Options.
Then scroll down until you reach Responsive Plus Features and enable Mega Menu.
Now, go to the Menus option under Appearance and create a mega menu.
Give your menu a name and hit the Create Menu button. You can also enable some of the options from the Mega Menu Settings.
For this guide, let’s add a recipe menu item and create a mega menu. Go to the Custom Link option and then add your Link Text.
If you already have a specific page ready to put under the navigation, you can put its URL. Otherwise, just go for (#), add the Menu Name, and click on the Add to Menu option.
Now, let’s add some submenus here, using the Custom Link option as before. Once added, drag those items slightly to the right to convert them to the submenu.
Once done, click on the dropdown arrow of the main menu item, which is the “Recipe” for this guide. There, click on the Mega Menu Settings option.
Enable the mega menu option and hit the Save Changes button.
Similarly, add more sub-sub-menu items using the same Custom Link option. You can add as many menu items as you like. This will quickly create a mega menu for your website. Do just as we did in the video below.
Once you’ve done it correctly, your mega menu will look like this.
